![]() Your room size will only handle but one large table (pool table, ping pong or air hockey). BTW the pinball and bowling machines accommodated up to 4 players each. Having several games allows the kids to jump around while waiting their turn on the pinball or bowling or whatever. It is hard to find ones that aren't too complicated for kids or adults to readily understand or have too adult themes. I personally liked the pinball machine the best. We probably had not much more than $1000 into all of it and it certainly was the place to be when the kids friends were around and when they weren't in the pool. I think a church youth group has it now and still is using it. Once I took it to a refurb place and spent a couple of hundred on it. Most of the work, flipper solenoids, light bulbs and the like I did. It was electromechanical and occasionally required work. Had an old Stern Flight 2000 Pinball machine that I bought in the early 90s ($300) from the same place I got the bowling machine. Still works and a favorite when the neighborhood kids come around and I will play it occasionally. Upright video bowling machine purchased used in the 90s, $300, from a place that used them in commercial establishments. Had a bumper pool table ($20), but the kids never got into it. Still use the top but place it on the air hockey table for use. Ping pong, the only purchased new item by the kids grandparents, held up for a while. ![]() I've worked on the table supports several times, but for $20 initial and a few replacement pucks it has been well worth it. ![]() Air hockey, it was not professional quality but still is used. We've purchased several games over the years, mostly used.
